At IHMS Kotdwar, the Department of Hotel Management prepares students for excellence in the hospitality industry with a perfect blend of theory and hands-on training. We focus on skill-based learning, service etiquette and industry exposure so that our students meet global standards of hospitality.

Who can apply for BHM?
- 10+2 (Class 12) in any stream from a recognised board with at least 50% marks – 45% for reserved categories, as per university norms.
- Students awaiting Class 12 results can apply provisionally.
- Admission on merit / IHMS Entrance Test or CUET score and a personal interview.

Scholarship is calculated on the first-semester tuition fee and adjusted across every semester. Only one scholarship applies per student, and the scheme agreed at admission stays the same for the whole programme.

What is the BHM fee at IHMS Kotdwar?
The total fee for the four-year BHM is ₹3,98,000: ₹69,000 in the first semester (₹47,000 tuition plus one-time charges including uniform) and ₹47,000 in each of the remaining seven semesters. University exam fees are extra.
Who can apply for hotel management (BHM)?
Students who have passed Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission includes a personal interview.
Is IHMS good for hotel management?
Hotel management is where IHMS began in 2006. Students train in dedicated kitchens, a 30-cover training restaurant with bar, a housekeeping suite and a front-office lab, and alumni work with groups such as IHG, Marriott, Taj, Oberoi and Leela.
Is there industrial training in BHM?
Yes. Semesters III and VIII are industry-exposure semesters in which you train in hotel operations.
What is the difference between BHM and CHM?
BHM is a four-year bachelor’s degree for Class 12 pass students. CHM is a one-year certificate for Class 10 pass students who want to start working quickly.
