The BCA is a full-time, three-year (six-semester) degree in computer applications for students who have finished Class 12 and want a career in computing and IT. The focus is a sound grounding in computing, business functioning and the mathematics behind information technology.
You program from the first semester – C, C++, data structures and databases – then move to networks, operating systems, software engineering and multimedia. In the final year you choose electives such as Web Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, ASP.NET, C# or Natural Language Processing and build a major project.

Who can apply for BCA?
- 10+2 (Class 12) from a recognised board with at least 50% marks – 45% for reserved categories, as per university norms.
- Students awaiting Class 12 results can apply provisionally.
- Admission on merit / IHMS Entrance Test or CUET score, followed by counselling.

Scholarship is calculated on the first-semester tuition fee and adjusted across every semester. Only one scholarship applies per student, and the scheme agreed at admission stays the same for the whole programme.
