The foresight and deep interest in quality education of the Shri Balbhadra Singh Negi Educational Society resulted in the establishment of IHMS.

I have been associated with IHMS since its inception, and it has always been my sincere wish to see IHMS develop as one of the leading educational institutes in the country. IHMS made a modest start with a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, subsequently adding degrees in Computer Applications, Business Administration and Information Technology.

I look to the entire faculty, staff and students for their active participation, dedication and team spirit, which will help us earn laurels. Every student who commits to higher education at IHMS gets the right environment for all-round development – superior knowledge, quality skills and personal attributes that match the needs of a technologically strong, globally competitive economy.

Since the inception of IHMS I have been particular about a campus environment conducive to effective learning and a good quality of life for the whole academic community, and I wish to continue this progress in the years ahead.
