Welcome to the Department of Management at IHMS Kotdwar, where future leaders are shaped, entrepreneurial minds are nurtured and career dreams take flight. The department offers two programmes – the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) – built around modern business practice, industry relevance and real-world application.
We blend classroom theory with hands-on industry exposure: live projects, internships, industrial visits, workshops on leadership, finance, marketing, HR and entrepreneurship, and regular personality-development sessions. Whether you are starting with a BBA or stepping up with an MBA, a structured curriculum, experienced faculty and strong industry ties guide you all the way.

MBA – Graduation with 50%; BBA – Class 12 pass, any stream.

MBA: Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University (approved by AICTE); BBA: HNB Garhwal University (a Central University).

What facilities and support does the department offer?
Industry-relevant curriculum, experienced mentors, workshops & seminars, internships & industrial visits, placement assistance and personality & leadership.
Are scholarships available?
Yes – merit scholarships of 20–50% on tuition based on marks in the qualifying exam, 25% for SC, ST and OBC students and staff referrals, and 20% for defence, para-military and police dependants and for alumni or student referrals. Only one scholarship applies per student.
Is hostel and transport available?
Yes. The hostel costs ₹50,000 per semester, and college transport is available at ₹1,500 per month, ₹7,000 for six months or ₹12,000 per year.
